Tina Fey (SNL) quip...
"Sixty-six per cent of the people think Bush is doing a poor job on the Iraq war. Thirty-four percent of the people think Adam & Eve rode dinosaurs to church."

Got a biggg laugh. :)

1. Maybe I don't get it
But this sounds like SNL is belittling the fact that 2/3 of the American people oppose bush's handling of the Iraq war.

2. I think the point is that the people who support Bush are
the people who think Adam and Eve rode dinosaurs (were capable of believing anything).

13. Ah it's not a picture of dipshit
It's me with a cardboard cutout of dipshit. Took it in Crawford this summer.

3. No. 66% disagree with the way Bush is handling the war. The OTHER
34% believe Adam and Eve ode dinosaurs to church.

They were belittling those who approve of the way Bush is handling the war.

14. It's the remaining 34% (who do NOT disapprove of Bush's handling
of the Iraq war) that believe Adam & Eve rode dinosaurs to church. Meaning, those who approve are basically idiots.

6. Sounds like they were saying the other 34%
are fundies that believe in Intelligent Design or Creationism and the earth is like only 5,000 years old.

12. It's a slam at those Creationists
who don't "believe" the way scientists have arranged time. Many actually believe the earth is only 6,000 years old or some bizarre number like that. So there can't be those pesky long ago eras we were taught belonged to the dinosaurs.

Nevertheless, we have dinosaur remnants which proved they existed, so the Fundies believe that man and dinosaur "co-existed."

The Fred Flintstone Era, maybe?
