Why Patrick Fitzgerald gives me hope.
We are in capable hands. We won't lose our country. Not on his watch.

I'm feeling mighty grateful. :toast: Looks like we've found an authentic leader. Patrick Fitzgerald has confirmed what we've believed all along. This country and its principles and ideals are based on freedom, liberty and justice. We must continue to protect and defend Our Constitution and our Bill of Rights.

The Culture of Corruption is not immune to the Rule of Law.

NOT IN OUR NAME. NEVER. We are Americans.

NGU!

Peace:patriot:

Saying this is far from being over... Of course there's another guy saying it's over...has to be a right wing guy...

I think there has been a great focus today on the lead up to the war question on all the news shows along with asking the right questions about who leaked Plame???

2. Sunshine At Last
"Sunshine is the best disinfectant."
- Justice Louis Brandeis

Any one or any thing that will shed light on the secretive, felonious, war-mongering sewer rats who are operating the American government has me jumping for joy.

Patrick Fitzgerald-- (my fellow Irishman, and--I am told by my mother-- my not too distant relative)-- start throwing open ALL the windows!!! We deserve to know what has happened and why.

The truth must be very ugly-- otherwise there would be no need for lying and retribution.

3. It was almost unreal, hearing his words
I was in a store, looking for sequined shoes of all things (!), listening with my earphones on, to his statement. I thought to myself "This guy is hero. He is saying what needs to be said and it's really only common decency and the right thing to do." We are so used to spin and lies and disgusting rationalizations and I just couldn't believe it for a moment. WOW! I am still just savoring the moment in my mind.

P.S. The mindless search for sequined shoes gave me a huge laugh at myself and I ditched the whole idea!

4. The right wing seems to out in force in the media trying to get some
traction on their spin of recent events. I believe that they mistake decency for weakness. Most bullies do. I think Fitzgerald is a true bad-ass. I think they are in for the ride of their lives.

5. I would be inclined
to tell this man the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. The way he operates´in a slow methodological manner you just know if you tell him alie it will come back to bite you on the ass,

6. Am I worried that Rove will get away scott free? Am I worried
that the real perps will get away? Yes and yes. Yet, when I saw parts of the Fitz press conference, I am confident in him. I withheld praises for his character based on other sources, but when I saw him, I understood that he is a man of character, man of principle, a humble man, uncomfortable when he is in the spotlight, a public servant, armored in 5-inch shield of stainless steel integrity.

Whatever happens, I trust him. If he says Rove did not break the law, so be it. I will believe him. This case is in good hands. Imagine for a moment that Ashcroft or Gonzales were investigating this. We are very lucky and blessed with Fitzgerald. Someone above is watching out for us. The outcome of this fight has been decided a long time ago in our favor. Fear not, ye of little faith!
