Okay, So what Democrats HAVE called for a withdrawal?
I'd like to know what Democrats are coming out publicly demanding that we send the troops home. Candidates, activists, elected officials. Whomever you can name, I want to know. By 2006, I don't know if I can stomach voting for someone who's not standing up against this war.

1. What's your timetable?
Several Democrats (and some Republicans) have called for a timetable to withdraw the troops. I think the most common timetable is the end of 2006.

If you mean calling for withdrawal tomorrow, you'll have to write in your own name on the ballot...

2. Oh, no
I mean what you said. And I know a few have asked, demanded for a timetable. But I still see prominent people in our own party still pretending that this war was for a just cause and spouting off the same talking points that the Republicans do.

It makes me sick to think of a 2008 election where Hillary Clinton loses to Chuck Hagel because Hagel was the one who campaigned on an anti-war platform.

The reverse of this question is: what Democrats still support this disaster?

4. I'm with you Dave
It will look worse if they flip later. They should have said something when we found out we were duped by Bush & Co. I would really like to hear Dems leaders thinking on this. Their silence is deafening. What do leaders of the Green party have to say? Anyone know?

3. Kucinich has always been against the invasion and has gone out
of his way to stop it originally. He's for bringing them home now.

5. You beat me to it, Pat. Kucinich has been against it since Feb '02
at least, and is still against it (which, with the rest of his politics, means he gets ignored ...as we know only too well)
