Patrick Fitzgerald is registered as unaffiliated with any party. He tried registering as an independent and found out that this associated him with the Independent Party (which ran Pat Buchanan). So he had to change his registration to unaffiliated (no party preference).

This Fitz is a Republican has been totally debunked.

I so wish he were likely to be running. As it is, although I like several of the rest, my next choice would be Sen. Boxer.
