Not to depress anyone, but these were my favorite images last year. Ah, the hope we had. *Sigh*

1. Thanks for these wonderful photos. His campaigning was NOT
the problem. Kerry and Edwards were packing in the people all over this country. It gets on my nerves when people speak negatively about their campaign...it denies reality. Dems were more organized, had more money, they were bringing in huge crowds. It reminds me of that post by TIA in order to believe * won you have to believe - then it listed a bunch of things that were completely absurd.

Anyway, thanks for the memories.

Kerry won! Get over it.

2. Rove concentrated on two states
Ohio & Florida. He organized a stealth get out-the-vote for Jesus campaign in every fundie church they could find. The campaign worked. Millions of fundies that would otherwise have not voted showed up on voting day.
This was widely reported at the time, but everybody wanted to believe that some massive fraud took place, rather than they got blind sighted by such a simple tactic.

3. Bullshit. I mean so he did so what. He did not get enough
fundie voters to counteract the incredible numbers who came out to vote for change. He got maybe 1.5 or as much as 3 mil but he couldn't touch the actual 4 to 8 million extra that actually turned out...so they fell back on their electronic voting machines.

Sorry. Not buying it.

4. That 's your choice.
However, it will keep happening no matter how the votes are registered.

Spend a little time around a fundie church come the next election if you don't believe me. They even provided buses and shuttles to the polling places.

6. I firmly believe that the evangelicals who supported *
should investigated. There is no way that 3 million of them just materialized out of the woodwork to show to vote one day. The Repugs used their mailing lists and their pulpits to convince them Kerry was going to abort every baby in the U.S.

8. I think their friends down at the polling booths let them vote
even though they may not have been on the rosters just like a lot of other voters. I know why Kerry lost. It was watching 9 people in a 99% Democrat are being blocked from voting in just the 15 mins it took me to get in and out. I'm sure I'm not the only one to witness that.
