4. Do you mean other than Haldemann, Erlichman, Agnew, et al?

March 1, 1974. DC grand jury handed down indictments for six WH insiders. Agnew was indicted by MD prosecutor. Nixon was named as co-conspirator.

5. Haledman and Erlichman had been fired the previous April.
Agnew was the sitting VP, but was charged for acts that took place while he was Governor of Maryland. John Mitchell was no longer AG when he was indicted. I think Michael Deaver and Lynn Notziger were already out of the Reagan White House when they were indicted. My point is that White House insiders have certainly been indicted, they were either gone when it happened, or indicted on charges not related to the administration. That may have been what the original poster meant.

I'm not sure if sitting officials were indicted in the Harding "Teapot Dome" scandal in the 1920s.

6. All Watergate indictees
On March 1, 1974
Haldeman, Ehrlichman, Mitchell, Colson, Strachan, Mardian, Parkinson

Dean and Magruder already had pleaded guilty.

Were any of these WH staffers when the indictments were handed down?
