Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison): crime and not some perjury technicality
Apologies if this was posted before

First, her role in the Clinton impeachment http://www.ameriroots.com/impeachment/senator_hutchison.html

But what about her man now in the White House?

Hutchinson: Indictments Should Be “On a Crime and Not Some Perjury Technicality”

On Meet the Press, Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson picks up where Bill Kristol left off:

I certainly hope that if there is going to be an indictment that says something happened, that it is an indictment on a crime and not some perjury technicality where they couldn’t indict on the crime so they go to something just to show that their two years of investigation were not a waste of time and dollars

1. She's made herself a laughingstock
That "perjury technicality" talking point is official D.O.A. now.

2. I think Kay Bailey is positioning herself for the remake of
CRAZY MAMA, the Shelly Winters vehicle of some years back.

The perjury quote is part of her gradual research on the role.

3. I bet she got chewed out for that one!
Even Russert said "You didn't feel that way when Clinton was indicted for purgury"!

Boy, they all must be in a tizzy! Kay is usually very careful about what she says and how she says it!

5. And you're surprised? Republicans are the masters of hypocrisy.
And they know NO shame, either.

13. Indeed. There would not be the Daily Show without
their hypocrisy.

Poor Jon Stewart - will have hard time to select among so many stories for this week.

7. I haven't heard her response
to the rather obvious hypocrisy. How is she defending herself? Or is she just sticking her fingers in her ear and singin LA-LA-LA?

9. Please send KBH a message
Let her know that she is a GOP protecting hypocrite.

Go to:

http://www.congress.org

or

http://www.senate.gov

I've done it. Now I'm going to ask Frist to quiet the spin machine
and the hypocrites in his GOP Senate.

12. Last time I checked, LYING was included in the Ten Commandments
at a sin. It's also against the law. I don't see that as a "technicality"!
