I just laughed while reading this post on a right-wing website.
Here's the first post...and the response to it is hilarious.
Interesting how you trash Dean but don't really disagree with what he's saying. He doesn't really care what republicans think of him, he knows he has no shot at national office and can always go back to practicing medicine. He actually used to be fairly conservative, the real question is why did he become so anti-republican?
Some of the comments he was making ring true with me. I think life is getting harder for the non-wealthy in America. I've seen it first-hand. We've lost a lot of respect internationally, for those who care and realize that as part of a global economy we have to care, that's a big problem. We've got deficits up to our eyeballs with no end in sight, and a president who probably believes the world is 5000 years old and Noahs Ark is somewhere in the grand canyon. The leaders of the ruling party are being investigated for different types of corruption, and the gov't is contemplating how it can go about slashing health care for the poor. There is little to be happy about right now with regards to the direction of our country.
And the response...
How wonderful for you that you know President Bush well enough personally to make your judgements about his intelligence level.
And yes indeed, there have been investigations but as far as I am aware no conclusive fact finding of corruption - as usual, just a lot of unsubstantiated talk. That's called politics. And all politicians engage in it.
It draws attention.
It diverts from other, more important issues, and most importantly,
it appeals to people who stand in line and read the National Enquirer.
That's called yellow journalism, and most our so-called "Journalists" (shouldn't that really be "urinalists"?)
write at some level of that style.
If you're stupid enough to believe it without balanced investigation,
then you get what you deserve.
Use your brain! Don't let them spoon feed you that garbage.
I know you're smarter than that.
I thought it was a riot. Telling one of his own not to believe the garbage. :D
