Video Clip: Kay Bailey Hutchison, today's MTP, "perjury technicality"...

Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson: What Crime?

The new GOP talking point to defend anyone indicted by Patrick Fitzgerald will be the "perjury technicality." Apparently the "criminalization of politics" theme wasn't picked up by the GOP.

Video -WMP

As Think Progress notes: "Perjury is just a little technicality punishable by up to five years in prison"

To Tim's credit, he did bring up the case made by republicans against Clinton.

3. In a way I kind of agree
If perjury is all you got then stop building us up for a big to do about nothing. (yes I know it's not "nothing" but come on) After two (2) years, if that's all you can bring, just move on to other fish.

I'm just saying . . .

Perjury laws exist for a reason. . .

What good is an investigation if everybody is allowed to lie?

On Edit Grammar or something

5. F. You K.B. H.
A technicality? Lying this country into war and destroying anybody
who questions them are not technicalities. It is called treason.

6. Exactimundo, and the rePiglicans know it. That's why they must accuse
progressives of treason every chance they get; they are trying to tar others with their own filthy brush in the hopes that the 'Murkin sheeple will buy it if it's repeated often enough.
All a bunch of chickenhawks, so they smear the military record of others; they have an anti-abortion litmus test so they accuse the proegressives of having a pro-abortion litmus test; they have allowed the rich to declare class warfare on the poor, and given them the tools to win the war hands-down, so they must accuse progressives of inciting class warfare of the poor against the rich; it goes on and on and on. Best defense is a good offense and all that, and the rePiglicans are nothing if not offensive.
And yes, they are most certainly guilty of treason, for their trashing of the Constitution they all swore oaths to preserve, protect and defend.
