The Final Push : Divide The Judiciary
The Republican Party, under George W Bush and Karl Rove, have been successful at dividing this nation into Democrats and Republicans. You are either with them or you are against them. You are not simply a political opponent - you are the enemy. Whatever they can do to destroy you they will do - no matter if it crosses legal lines.

And now, as we see with Tom Delay, they seek to divide the judges into political camps. Delay's only defense yesterday was that he could not get a fair trial with a judge who had contributed to MoveOn.org or the Kerry for President campaign. He wants a Republican judge. But not just any Republican judge. He wants a partisan Republican judge, who sees everything in Democratic or Republican terms. It's no longer about whether laws were broken. It's about who can define it as political games brought to court by your political enemies.
