or even higher at the pump on Gaspricewatch.com.

What BULLSHIT!! Those prices haven't come down all that much from the Labor Day rip-off. We're luckier around here,we're down to $2.25 with OK City being around $2.09. There is NO reason some of those prices should be that high, people REALLY need to pitch a bitch about that.

1. I've asked sort of the same question for a decade
How come when there's an oil fire somewhere and the world oil prices go up, we immediately see that at the pump. But, when international oil prices drop, we have to wait 3 months because it takes a while for oil price changes to kick in.

It's a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's what happens when your government doesn't subsidize/control the price of gas at the domestic pump.

5. Well obviously there is no incentive for speculative price decreases
as there is for speculative price increases. As, despite the recent down blip, the trend is up with demand continuing to grow and supply continuing to plateau, prices will not be dragged down by market forces anytime soon.

2. Wilma makes them do it
It's now an oil industry mantra: "Hurricanes cause high gas prices" (like we never had any hurricanes in the past).

Of course, after Wilma, there is going to be Zelda, then Yeta, and Yada.
