Pending Indictments - Excellent news for bush

He will soon be able to tell his base that he has more criminals working for him than reagan did. It could almost be a campaign slogan in conservative circles. His praises will be sung from pulpits coast to coast.

Of course, we never did go far enough with Iran-Contra in Reagan's time. I'm ashamed to say that I was one of those who wanted to take pity on Reagan, and thus, may have inadvertently helped GBI escape scrutiny. I won't make that mistake again.

9. I'm sure that Bush knows what's going on. He could probably

be gotten on obstruction, or as a co-conspirator. After all, he told Fitz that Karl told him he had nothing to do with it, and he claimed he had no idea what was going on, which appears not to be the case if recent news stories are to be believed. And I refuse to believe he didn't see the State Department memo identifying Plame.

I'm wondering if Fitz will simply ignore Bush, knowing that if he were to indict or implicate him that he (Fitz) would probably be fired. But if Bush believes/knows he won't be indicted, perhaps he would just as soon see his Neocon friends frog-marched out of the White House---they've sort of become a drag on the Presidency, ya know?

He can always pardon them later.

Although Bush's overall approval rating sits at around 39 percent, and he garners a whopping 2 percent of African American support--just look at these glowing, impressive numbers:

99 percent of sociopathic, homicidal narcissists approve of Bush's handling of Katrina.

98 percent of those whose incomes exceed 10 million dollars, approve of Bush's handling of tax cuts and the economy.

99 percent of men who were once fraternity presidents at Ivy League Colleges, approve of Bush's ability to lead.

99 percent of those ever indicted for a white-collar crime support Bush's policies on slashing programs for the poor, disadvantaged and elderly.

99 percent of child abusers support Bush's unfunded educational mandates and budget cuts for poor children.

99 percent of Taliban and Al Queda "gold star" members, approve of the way George Bush has gone after Osama bin Laden.

Ya see! He's doing really well in some sectors!

You make light of this, but if you keep in mind what the true values of conservatives are, you'll see that "getting away with it" is one of the truest joys. Conservatism, being selfishness, revels in the outmaneuvering and legal screwing of others. To have a bunch of criminals at hand is to be in good company.
