MUST READ - What God forgot to tell Bush

While God was busy telling Bush to bring ‘freedom' to all those in the vicinity of major deposits of crude oil, he somehow failed to tell him to bring ‘freedom' to the starving people of North Korea, ruled by a godless regime openly building nuclear weapons. Is it possible, this op-ed article from Pakistan's PakTribune wonders, that Americans are unaware of the bloody history of politicians with a God-complex?
God also failed to mention to the President that while he was bogged down in Iraq, he would hit America with one terrible hurricane after another, and that the resultant damage will make impossible demands on the non-existent dinero in his treasury for rebuilding the Gulf Coast. Further, when God sent Hurricane Katrina, he didn't tell the President that it was not okay to play guitar and eat cake while people were drowning. Neither is God responsible for telling him to hire heck-of-a-job-Brownie two years earlier. .

5. No, this is a take on Bushspeak
to him, he is in perfect agreement with God, since God speaks directly to him, that is what the parody is.

7. Tying yourself directly to God is risky business
It means that there is no compromise, ever, how can there be,
I like my saints like Mother Theresa who saw God in every suffering
beggar.

9. In the mental health field, one of the sure signs of psychiatric
problems is the patients insisting that God is talking with them directly. That will get a person committed every time. (especially if he has insurance)

11. and God forgot to tell Bush
that he cares about the planet and that he really gets pissed

13. And God forgot to tell Bush everything else which really means
that Bush has no personal conversations with God. In mental health circles, hallucinations of talking with God are taken seriously. Patients are admitted immediately to psychiatric hospitals and put on meds.

16. I still remember there was one cartoon
I believe it was "American Dad" where it showed Bush in the Oval Office and it was God on the phone and it was him telling George to stop using him so much and than he got a phone call and on the other line it was Cheney and God was like "yes sir..."

19. There is no doubt that the criminally insane are in charge.
How did we allow this to happen? When will it end? What will life be like after the Republican reign of terror?

20. I think Bush is in free fall now
Edited on Mon Oct-17-05 04:19 PM by MissWaverly
I think that he and Cheney will probably resign, what's next is anyone's guess, but I heard the Republicans are advocating moderates
to fill vacancies so the neocons are on their way out. I believe the
country has got to get better, I really believe a change in leadership would help a great deal and there has to be a clean up
in Congress as well.
