Newsweek - don’t count out Howard Dean just yet
As the undisputed front runner, Kerry will also now find the gloves are off. Other campaigns are staring at their do-or-die moments. Their best chance of survival rests on prolonging the fight by halting Kerry’s romp home. “We’ve moved a lot of material,” says one rival-campaign aide of the voluminous oppo research on the Massachusetts senator that is now finding its way into journalists’ hands. Other rival-campaign staffers are salivating at the prospect of digging into Kerry’s Senate record, especially his fund-raising records, to see if they can dig up anything on those infamous special interests inside the Beltway. “We’ll see if he can take the pounding,” says one.

2. Kerry is going to be savaged this week
I'll point to the 2 big voting blocks in Kerry's favor in NH... electability and experience. In both those cases Clark was the #2 choice. If Kerry is truly savaged and cant take the hit, seeing as Clark already polls so well in the Feb 3 states, Clark is going to come out of Feb 3 looking pretty solid.

This week is going to be interesting.

3. Great

More of the circular firing squad.

4. I luv the way every pundit
is characterizing Clarks finish in NH as bloodied. The press treated him like shit the whole week, and primped up Kerry and Edwards. Clark did fine all things considered.

6. But most of last year they killed Kerry and Edwards off.
Or tried to. By declaring their candidacies dead the media dried up their fundraising which benefitted Dean and Clark.

They pulled through in SPITE of the press. Clark can, too.

12. If the press wants Dean to win, they would not have trashed him
in Iowa and afterwards.

The press wants a horse race and they can be manipulated to do this.

8. May the Media Whores Chew Kerry Up
and Spit Him Out.

Of course if they don't, it confirms my suspicion
that Kerry is the blessed one, the anointed by the
Bush machine candidate, the one sure to lose.

But hey, I'm not a :tinfoilhat: or anything. :eyes:

10. This race may very well go to the convention...
... with no one having a plurality of delegates. This could get interesting.
