(these folks are so arrogant - they still think that yelling loudly in a self-righteous tone will keep them safe from the public turning on them as they smell the stench of DeLay and other GOP tied corruption)

Florida GOP won't return money tied to DeLay fundraising

Eleven House Republicans from Florida who received cash from Tom DeLay's PAC said they will keep it.

BY FRANK DAVIES

Florida Republicans in the U.S. House steadfastly support Tom DeLay, their indicted leader, and have decided not to return substantial contributions they received from DeLay's political action committee.

While at least three Republicans from other states have returned such contributions or donated the money to hurricane relief, Reps. Clay Shaw of Fort Lauderdale, who received $30,000, Katherine Harris of Sarasota ($20,000) and nine other Florida Republicans say there is no reason to do that.

''Last time I checked, you're innocent until proven guilty,'' said Harris, who is running for the U.S. Senate. She labeled several calls to return money from DeLay's Americans for a Republican Majority (ARMPAC) as ``nothing but political grandstanding.''

1. I'm GLAD they're sticking with him! That way, when he goes
down, he'll have lots of company with him!

2. Real time poetic justice
these are the folks who took "bruiser politics - no compromise and you will always win" to its enth degree. And now as they play that card (admit no wrong - and you will always be percieved as right) one more time... they may just get taken down with it. The very approach that led to DeLay's ascent - may not only take him down -but a heck of a lot of his acolytes.

3. Call her and tell her "I'm glad you agree. AND...
I'll be watching to see your upcoming remarks about those at Abu Ghraib, Gitmo, and unindicted terrorists are also 'Innocent until proven guilty' and therefore the torturem MUST stop.'"

If she is not willing to do so, then demand she return the 'probable laundered money' to the poor where it can be used instead.

If it's not laundered, then she's helped people. If it is laundered, then at least it didn't help the intended groups.
