Bush gives pre-election speech to the Iraqi people
Edited on Thu Oct-06-05 10:19 AM by kentuck
If it were only based in reality. He stood strong and quoted the Koran. We will fight with them til the end - until victory is assured. The terrorists are not freedom fighters - they are murderers. In the end, the speech was not for the American people but for the Arab world. It was meant to encourage his "base" in Iraq and to get the people out to vote.

However, George Bush is like an arsonist that burns down a house. He says he's doing it to catch a terrorist. Then he burns down another house and then another. And then he proclaims there are more terrorists that are attempting to stop "freedom". ANd the sad truth is, there are more terrorists. Every time he burns down another house, more terrorists are created. His solution is to burn down all the houses until victory is ours.

There is no doubt that there was terrorism before George W Bush. We have not forgotten 9/11. But, there did not have to be the war we have now created out of ignorance, arrogance, and vengeance. Make no mistake, George W Bush has created a real war on terror. But there were other ways to fight these small time terrorists, rather than burn down the world.

2. He quoted the Koran?
:wow: Is "freedom" in the eye of the beholder?

They need to VOTE! Hopefully they won't elect George W.
