Dean "Hides the Salami"
It happens to the best of them...anyone see this???

Dean was on Hardball tonight and said something to effect "we don't want to be playing hide the salami", etc etc. It sort of a "blooper" remark.

To his credit, he realized what he had said and sort of chuckled to himself. I like a person who can laugh at his own bloopers.

Hang in there Howard.

-P

4. You sure it was a blooper?
Seems Dean was saying that Bush is F*CKING US, and he's not being nice or gentle about it. Matter a fact, except for the knuckle dragging 24% of the nation that voted for the idiot, it's not even consentual. That's called rape.

7. Go Howard!
I love his honesty and candor. Just what we need to show exactly what Bush is doing to this country.

Keep it up!

13. WP just did. They got a lot of his attack in a few paragraphs.

Dean Turns Up the Volume

"When Howard Dean became chairman of the Democratic National Committee, he kept a low profile for a season to reassure some politicians and Washington operatives worried about his famous shoot-from-the-lip style. But that season is definitely over.

On MSNBC's "Hardball" yesterday, Dean sounded like the presidential candidate of yore, as he lashed an alleged "culture of corruption" in the Republican Party, said GOP leaders are putting money "in their own pockets," and added that "I don't think it's very credible" that Vice President Cheney was not aware of the leaking of CIA operative Valerie Plame's identity. During his broadside, he bemoaned how Bush's "MO" is to "discredit your opponents and attack them personally."

Then they repeated the rest. I think it is kind of funny, even if I shouldn't. I laughed out loud when he said it.

19. I hope he did it on purpose as a tactic...
...to "fool" them into repeating him. Who knows.

21. Well, look at it this way.
He's not dumb, he's a doctor, he knew exactly what it meant. He did it deliberately, did not appear to be an accident. Whatever his reasons, it was not a gaffe. I just laughed. Could not help it.

9. HAHA
Dean is hilarious! He seems to have a good sense of humor. I'm reminded of the Daily Show skit with him after the scream.

We all ARE getting screwed by this administration!

10. Now he needs to apologize publicly
And say very clearly that he was not insinuating that there was anything remotely innapropriate in the relationship between Supreme Court Candidate Miers (AKA office wife) and President Bush (AKA the most brilliant man in the world).

And he should say it over and over and over again.

18. That is just about right.
Those public non-apologies sure do get a lot of attention. I swear I laughed when he said that tonight. I don't know if I should have, but it was just funny. I think the devil made him do it.

11. I think Dr. Dean is very, very hot
We have the same birthday, November 17th.

Howard, c'mon over and bring your salami with you. You can hide it at my house anytime.

Now, back to more serious things, like saving our Democracy.
