I think we could all (including me) practice a little more goodwill towards our fellow man. We could all be more friendly, more open, nicer. Open doors for little old ladies, let that car into traffic, etc.

I really hate people who cannot shift gears. Its one of the reasons I don't like Bush. I really dislike it when someone says, "I think _______and nothing anyone can say will change my mind." Strength of purpose is one thing, mental inflexibility is something else.

And it shows that, even with all the infighting that goes on here, we really *do* have more common ground than not.

I was *quite* as unanimous as you, but it is a small matter. Even the few points with which I may not agree, I cannot find any hard oppostion in myself.

On the real, core values, I am in complete agreement.

Take away their ridiculous salaries and bonus packages (they only spend it on helping fund MORE Repubs into government anyhow) and America can finally begin to become the promising democracy it can be.

Capitalism with government safety nets (protect the elderly, the poor, the environment, the arts, the handicapped...all the economic losers that have great value), the system we've had in America since FDR, has been a pretty awesome system, not perfect, but I think looking around the world you would have to say it's the best anyone has come up with.

What I hate is that bush is a crony-ist, NOT a capitalist, even though he has his base fooled. Everything he does is all about protecting himself and rewarding those who are loyal. It's a good-ol-boy network, a power pyramid of sycophants with more loyalty to bush than to the US. He ddoesn't do
