not an especially high standard. Like I said, the Democratic party is the biggest loser.

15. How can a record turnout be a loss for the Democratic Party?
Sounds a tad like sour grapes.

Just because your candidate apparently didn't win does not mean that the Democratic Party didn't have a good night. Turnout is essential this fall, no matter who our candidate is. A record turnout in the primaries can only be a good thing and is a good sign for the general election.

11. I think...
... the term 'loser' refers to how someone did compared with expectations and their campaign.

Nobody would call Joe a loser in Iowa because he didn't bother with it. But he put full effort into NH and didn't get much.

He's about done at this point.

14. So if you are expected to do poorly, and you do poorly,
does that mean that Kucinich and Sharpton were winners? If so, nothing can stop them from continuing their winning streak.

12. I want to say Lieberman but it is Dean in a lot of ways.
He got smoked and he doesn't have any favorable states next week.

13. I Like Kerry, Edwards, and Clark Equally
but if Edwards and Clark lose SC to Kerry one should think about getting out of the race....
