Miers opposed repeal of law outlawing sodomy. sorry if dupe
I just got home from work not too long ago and see this on CNN.com.

'She told the group she believed gay men and lesbians should have the same civil rights as straight Americans, but that she opposed repeal of the state's sodomy law criminalizing same-sex sexual conduct.'

3. Slightly off topic, but...
Did anyone else notice that the day after the supreme court struck down the anti-sodomy laws, Strom Thurmond finally kicked the bucket?
Interesting timing there.

5. during the confirmations
they should ask her if she thinks the role of government is to take away people's choice to "sin."
If she says yes, libertarian types will hate her.
If she says no, the social conservatives will hate her.

Play some chess.
