7. I know, it really is a "no win" situation. When I try to be cryptic, I get

comments like, "That tells me nothing...," but then, give one joke away, and you get the "Thanks for ruining it..." crowd on you back.

I'm really working for the "don't miss it, great stuff..." crowd.

I personally can watch a good "Daily Show" 5 or more times and still enjoy it, but I'm currently off my meds, so...

I'm still laughing at the Porpoise joke from last night.

4. I LOVE Cameron Diaz! I think even before "...something about Mary"

That necklace was a bit annoying though.

I never though I would ever see a movie where Christina Applegate was the "less attractive Friend." (What was that movie called?)

5. "The Sweetest Thing"

The first 20 minutes was pretty good, but as soon as the "road trip" starts, it's awful, IMHO. I actually thought Salma Blair was the sexiest of the three. ;)

6. Can't afford cable, can't download clips

so without spoilers it's all just a big tease to me. :-(

8. Have you tried the Comedy Central website? They have streaming

clips by morning now.

9. I get a "need plugin" note

I've tried to install the plugin a dozen times or more. I just get an "unable to open application" message.

11. Here are a few things you might try to fix that:

1) Download the upgrade for Windows Media Player (from Microsoft).

2) You might need to change your "cookie" setting to except all Cookies, you have to let them set a cookie for Comedy Central I think. You can change it back after, but it might need to set a cookie once.

3) You need to turn off any "Pop-up" blocker. you can turn it back on when you're done, but that is a must for the Comedy Central clips to play.

4) If none of that works, update or download the latest version of Java. That could be the problem too.

Those are the 4 most common problems I've run into. And if you seem to have a REALLY slow connection, try unplugging your phone-line, then replugging it back in, you might have a dirty connector.

15. Thanks! I've tried everything but downloading Java

and I have a cable connection-but the only media player that works for me (and only on occasion) is Quicktime. :shrug:

Recaps are not for people who will watch and could be spoiled. Recaps are for the people (WE STILL EXIST) who do not have cable.
