4. Now impeachment really is an issue
This is something people can get their arms around to see criminal Bush in action.

3. Sounds like a dupe to me. A source can pretty much say anything at
this point. If they make it sound worse than it is.. then it looks better when the report/indictments come down.

Remember how hard all GOP pundits tried to make Bush look stupid leading up to each Presidential debate?

I highly doubt that they involve George in the swiftboating...why would they allow him into the inner workings of the slime? That is the first thing they learnt from Watergate - put President in bubble.

29. I don't know...
When his Dad was President, GW worked with Lee Atwater. It's hard to imagine that he didn't get some schooling in dirty tricks from that experience.

I tend to think that Bush is more involved with this sort of thing than most realize... It wouldn't surprise me at all to find he was a 100% insider.

5. Bush and Karl Rove are joined at the hip...
there is no way, IMHO, Bush didn't know about this. Bush, as shown in his role in Poppy's campaign, shows he has a mean, vindictive streak about him, too. Only problem is, with Fitzgerald is doesn't matter what he knows to be true, it matters what he can prove to be true. I hope has the goods on all of them. There needs to shine the disinfectant of light on this dark administration. The country can't take too much more of this criminal regime.

18. I think Fitzgerald will be successful in proving his case
He's said to be a bulldog, highly intelligent, relentless, and
fearless, just what we need. Also, the judges who reviewed
his evidence which involves national security were so
impressed by it that they ruled against reporters'
confidentiality.

9. look folks....
frankly, i'm not sure why we're all so damned interested in when and where the president urinated. he puts his pants on one leg at time, just like the rest of us. actually, maybe Luara helps him put them on. i know she certainly ties his shoes. still, all this leak talk... leak leak leak. 24 hours a day. all bush, all leak.

heheh.

Then he said "the leaker may never be found". Seemed like a funny thing to say at the time. Less funny now.

11. If Stephanopoulis said this to George Will...then he's doing
disinformation. Snuffy has been in the Bushies pocket since he turned on Clinton. I wouldn't believe a thing he says...but it means that "Something's Up." An alert for the Right Wing? Just speculation to throw into the pot? Who knows but Snuffy is buddies with James Baker...wouldn't trust him.

12. Sounds like parroting from the WWF
"I want to know the truth," Bush told reporters in September 2003 after news of the investigation had burst into headlines. "If anybody has got any information, inside our administration or outside our administration, it would be helpful if they came forward with the information so we can find out whether or not these allegations are true and get on about the business."

In 2003, McClellan said it was "a ridiculous suggestion" that Rove was involved. "I've made it very clear, he was not involved, that there's no truth to the suggestion that he was," he said. He also said that any culprit in the White House should be fired "at a minimum."

Professional wrestling hasn't a thing on these guys!

14. Wouldn't surprise me
We've been hearing for years how "the grownups are in charge." Now the administration (and the GOP leadership) is being exposed for it's juvenile, petty and greedy behavior. Every day... another shoe drops.

19. Imagine a Chimpeachment trial, with Poppy Bush called as first witness....
....It was Poppy who made it a felony to "out" a CIA operative, and it was also he who called it "treason" to do so. Put him on the stand and make him apply those rules to his own idiot son

20. Deja Vu
If true, this is the beginning of the end for the * regime. Remember it was not the Watergate break-in in itself that toppled Nixon, but the conspiracy that occurred after the fact. The same is happening with Delay.

24. It's clear now that one of the two officials who gave the info
to Novak was Fleischer who saw the CIA letter on Air Force One which spelled it all out. And whose spokesman was he? Would he say anything without B's consent? Elementary, wouldn't you say?

26. something doesn't smell right
if stephanopolous fully believed his source, this would be the lead story with trumpets blaring, flat out. you don't just slip something like this into casual conversation.

whoever the source is must have made a deal that this would be the way the news broke, in which case this is being used as a setup or as cover for something.

there's either more -- or less -- to this story than meets the eye.
