permission to testify. He plainly said that he would not say if Libby was the one to give her this permission and then turned right around and said he did. Strange conversation between him and Wolf!
A few years ago (post 9/11) she tipped off some saudi outfit about a upcoming raid by Fitzpatricks office and basically stopped the investigation dead cold (sorry no linky).
I have yet to see anybody making a sound connection between that case and Plame, but you never know. And if Fitzpatrick has truly ventured outside the box in this case I'm pretty sure we'd known by now.
Striking a deal to limit the questioning to the Plame issue thus seems like pure grandstanding - unless Judy actually has seen her own ghosts that is. She has quite a few of them...
7. Before the interview was over, Robert was "very" offended
that Wolfie would ask him a question about his brother's gaff about crime rate being reduced by aborting all black babies. Tsk, tsk!
They probably don't even speak to each other. He did say that he had not spoken to his brother about the matter. And he probably hasn't seen television because he was too damn busy with Miller.
