The classic example being the lamp post growing out of a head. A pretty basic no-no in composition. You wonder if it was intentional.

Does this remind anyone of the Michael Jackson Lisa Marie Presley Kiss:

Chief Justice of the United States John Roberts, center, leans over to kiss his wife Jane as President Bush looks on

63. Dressing like it's 1959
I'm a mom, I know lots of moms, both Republican and Democrat. Nobody I've ever met, weddings, funerals, fancy parties, family reunions, you name it, dresses the kids like this. Big ol' Shirley Temple bows, short pants, shiny shoes (okay, maybe for the girls)...WTF? Throw in the fact that Momma Roberts' dress matches Daddy Roberts' tie and I'm scenting a dysfunctional group trying desperately to fit some kind of image of the 'model family'.

Back to the 50's we go!

Women: Back in the kitchens (and bring me a cold drink, dammit!)

Working class: Kiss the suburbs good bye. Back into the slums with you!
Hollywood: Nothing above PG rating, thank you. And no political stuff, unless it properly depicts how evil the Commies Arabs are.

18. Some of the comments are priceless.
Obviously some of the photos are from a different date, but one freeper wondered why he changed his tie from blue to red!!! Several made comments about the expression on G Dubya's face. I though he looked haggard and stressed, maybe drugged. One of the comments was that "he's probably relieved that Rita turned out to be not as bad as Katrina." Another said he looked tired. That photo where he's patting Roberts' back is truly weird. Maybe he was checking to see if Roberts was wired, too.

"W" loves children (The seem to be magnetic for him) Almost Biblical. I imagine he and little John have had some "interesting" conversations.

WOnder if the children got to attend the luncheon as well?

hmmmmmm.. magnetic children? Or is "W" the big magnet? He and liitle John have 'interesting" conversations? Do you think litle John is teaching him how to read? Perhaps they're discussing the protagonist's dramatic conflict with his nemisis in Chapter 6 of "The Pet Goat"? Gee... I'll bet that's gosh- darned interesting! But isn't all that stuff hard to do inside a magnetic field?

Topped off with a little homophobia... delightful!

It was a very unusual expression hence why I chose it as photo of the day hoping it would encourage some discussion as to what the President was thinking.

66. Anybody got pictures of Larry Hagman as JR Ewing?
I swear the more I look at Roberts, he seems to remind me of Larry Hagman as JR Ewing...almost like a separated at birth...or given the age difference, who's your daddy?

Did you notice how the president switched from the red power tie, to the soft/peaceful blue at the actual swearing in? Guess he wanted the Chief Justice to have the power today. Also, did everyone see how FORCEFUL Judge Roberts put his hand on the Bible? I thought he was gonna make his wife drop it.

If you didn't see it today, watch it here:

I had NO IDEA they viewed Bushco as some kind of Jesus Rock Band that they'd love to be the groupies for.
