24. Where 'ya been?
Dean is in SERIOUS financial troubles. He has even asked his staff to take salary deferrals. Don't kid yourself, Dean is in trouble.

26. His cash on hand isn't real impressive.
Less than $5M. A big number, but nothing compared to the $40M he's raised.

He's also suspending pay to his staff, which is never a good sign about finances.

9. How do we unite?
...I don't think we'll be able to all get behind one person...

I think the only effective thing to do would be to each target 1 or 2 states...

As an Edwards supporter, I claim South Carolina...

3. He sweeps the Feb 7 states and wins the presidency?
It ain't over til CA and NY, Dean has the funds and the support for the long haul. We're looking at a brokered nominee. Sorry Mrs. Heinz, the people get to vote.

5. What if he keeps coming in a solid second?
With all those proportional delegates, and then wins, say, TWO?

It really troubles me when the people here panic like my soap opera list when they hear Sonny is going to sleep with Sam and Carly's taking a shower with Lorenzo.

6. most will line up with the winner now.....expect Kerry to pull the
Gebhardt endorsement soon, which will grab Missouri and a few other Gebhardt-supporting states...

we got Kerry support in Virginia...

IMO, Kerry can take a lot real soon...and Dean and his message will sink away soon too...Dean is just too disorganized in his campaign skills and too off-stream in his interviews and messages about the foreign affairs, medicare and more....

as the front-runner, Kerry can pull in the whole country now....
Dean really lost in Iowa....when Dean predicted a giant first place victory and pithered out....so the same in NH....with lots of non-voting young people supporting him...huge showing in the polls...pithered out again in the REAL votes (again, young people don't vote, old people do vote in large numbers too)....

so the reality of the Dean campaign is this: young people with laptops and cell phones are ALWAYS defeated by old political activist with a pencil, a yellowpad, and a telephone...

second lesson for Dean....repeating the same mistakes over and over and over, and expecting better results...is a sign of insanity...so is screaming...sending out more videos of your insanity compounded your error too...this is not a kiddy game for chearing young people...it's a polical campaign for the Presidency, and the whole country is watching...KERRY is the 'man'

Go Kerry....beat bush*

7. Kerry doesn't have the integrity of Dean/Clark/Edwards
that is why their bases are so loyal.

Their are only a few folks that have been with Kerry all along. A guy on TV today said that the polls influenced him and that he picked Kerry b/c every one else was. The TV said Kerry and everybody jumped on the train! This is bull!

ARG!!! WE are making the biggest mistake!

8. well
when we get close to feb 3... say sometime after the superbowl... lets look at the polling data for those states...

If it looks ugly for Dean, then i think the outsider internet sibling campaigns who opposed the war are going to need to talk - if they want to run a horse successfully against Kerry.

19. Nobody is stupid enough to align themselves with Dean
People jump off of sinking ships, not on them.

Clark and Edwards are still in good graces. Edwards is eyeing the VP slot and Clark would look nice in a Kerry/Edwards admin.

Once Dean loses he's persona non grata/roadkill. He'll be another pathetic what-could've-been figure like Goldwater, McGovern, Buchanan, Nader.

everyone's free to do it.
and I felt Gore and a lot of other people were making a big mistake too.
and I feel Kerry's got a lot of integrity.

it's the let's-all-pull-together-and-support-MY-candidate person.
Maybe they'll trade this poster for a case of Michelob and a freeper to be named later.

17. pssst
We had young people with laptops and cell phones. We had vets with a long-time internet and offline network. We had firefighters with both. And we had old time political activists. We had it all working, just nobody really understood that. At least that's what I think.

16. What does "win" mean? He's won delegate in both states so far...
This is a race for the most delegates, not coming in first in states.
As long as Dean wins delegates consistently, then he can win this thing. Consistency is the key in a race like this with so many viable candidates. Kerry has only 2 states under his belt, but he will not place well in the south. So as long as a strong Dean showing remains as the one constant in the race, it can be ours.

18. If Dean doesn't win ANY primaries next week
and his polling tells him the next round of states after that do not look good for him, he might just drop out.

BUT, if Edwards looses SC, who would that leave to be the anti-Kerry.

Clark, Kucinich, Sharpton? Clark's poor showing in NH is not going to help his standing in those upcoming states over the next few days.

Dean might have to stay to be the anti-Kerry.
