21. No ...
They voted Roy Blount in ... By Republican thinking, he is closer to being indicted, thereby he presents as a stronger leader ...

22. Dreier being gay probably factored in the Repub thinking
Didn't want to upset their conservative base with a gay individual. Crooks, on the other hand, barely raise an eyebrow among conservatives...

23. You have just pegged
Dreier. He's a bushbuddy. He's a closeted gay who passes anti-gay legislation. He was my rep in L.A. for 15 years, and I hate his guts.

15. Too right.
DeLay's invariable response when a fellow Republican is accused of corruption is to call him a hero. Duke Cunningham, for example, back on June 15:

“Duke Cunningham is a hero,” DeLay said during a press briefing Tuesday. “He is an honorable man of high integrity.”

16. DeLay is already a "hero" to them. Once a powerful man falls,
the fall is great. He is no longer useful to the money backers because the Bush Presidency is a "failed Presidency." We all know what the mob does to people who are no longer useful. They hang em out to dry.

17. Is he a hero for having allowed child slave labor to go unnoticed in his
dealings with the Marianas islands, or is he a hero for having commandeered Homeland Security airplanes to chase Democrats he was trying to steal seats from in Texas. Maybe he's a hero for his dealings with Jack Abramoff, a man who may possibly be the most corrupt lobbyist ever, and who may be mixed up in the murder of another corrupt business partner. So many reasons Hot Tub Tom could be a hero, wonder which one Drier is referring to.
Unbefreakinglievable.

We now know that Dreier is a pigboy bottom. You have to be to defend Delay with a comment like this.

"Oh daddy! Make me do that again!"

19. Dreier is such a sanctimonious hypocrite. It appears he is now
also delusional. The right doesn't seem to understand that the 'Delay as victim' talking point will not pass the laugh test.

And Drier ought to sashay out of the closet and face the wrath of his party. What a twisted freak hanging with people that despise what he is other than his Republicanism. Can't stand the lot of them.

28. Mr. Dreier, we saw what YOU were...
Edited on Thu Sep-29-05 06:52 AM by mtnester
in about 45 minutes your "base" pretty much called you a homo and said no WAY do you get to be majority leader. So, that makes you what? A sycophant? Lackey? Minion? Toady? I suppose those are part of your job description now aren't they?

And Delay will be your hero? Methinks Dreier needs psychiatric counseling in a BAD way.

Just how self-flagellating can you be and hold this type of position before they come for you with the nets?

My son called this maneuver within 5 minutes of hearing Dreirer's name mentioned. He called me on the phone and said no way, and before it is over, they will have him schilling for Delay like you could not imagine. He said this is that way with all self-haters.
