Freeper spin on low turnout of pro-war rally
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1491086/posts
One post:

What really matters is the quality of the people who show up for an event -- as well as how well the event is presented. It's a first rate operation, with very thoughtful and articulate speakers.

Another post, obviously in denial in spite of the video and pics available:

Pro-war Rally: "About 400 people gathered"

Anti-war Rally: "an event that attracted an estimated 100,000 people"

Somebody forgot to divide by 100 when reporting the number of treasonous people in DC yesterday.

HUH? Does this person REALLY believe there were only 1000 people at the anti-war protest yesterday???!!??

Ewwww I feel so dirty after going over there, I just want to spray msyelf with a canister of Lysol.

1. "The quality of the speakers"?
You mean, like convicted felon and Watergate conspirator G. Gordon Liddy? Some fine folks they have representing them....

3. The freepers are totally blind to bu$hco.
"pResident bu$hes effectiveness in ANYTHING HE WANTS TO DO". That about says it all, doesn't it?? They will follow along with the chimp NO MATTER WHAT - ANYTHING is ok with those blind followers, isn't it??? See this freeper's statement:

To: Simmy2.5
Many demonstrators focused their ire at Cindy Sheehan, the California woman whose protest near President Bush's Texas home last summer galvanized the anti-war movement.
Galvanized WHAT anti-war movement? The only 'movement' I've see is Camp Casey and that weak protest in DC yesterday. The only thing driving it is the MSM, who desperately wants to do ANYTHING it can to minimize President Bush's effectiveness in anything he wants to do.

7. good catch
I watched the coverage of it on CSPAN. Okay, I was just watching for the "crowd" shot but found there wasn't one.

If that's the best quality they've got it explains why their pro-war stance is losing ground with the American public.

10. You mean the speakers who couldn't read their "own" speeches?
Most of them were just plain awful. They acted like they had never read the text before they got on stage, which is probably what happened. Some of them made no sense, and many used horrible grammar. If that is quality, well, then I guess they must think education in Amurika is just swell :sarcasm:

4. I take heart in the fact that even with freeper math
the poster is admitting that there were 5 antiwar protesters for every two pro-Ws. That's HUGH 111.

5. Was there 400 porta potties in front of the White House?
Just count the poopers and multiply that by one and you get a true reading on the Freeper pro war cowards numbers. They need so many crappers because when they get to thinking about their asses winding up in Iraq, it SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF THEM! When you scare the shit out of a Freeper there is nothing left but the yellow hide.

6. They'lll lie and lie and lie.....
even if we can see the sun shine they'd say it was dark out..... and people will believe them.

Anti-war groups need to take some of the pics from the rally and post them on big public bill boards

300,000+ - and the reason for no aerial shots? it would bolster the movement!

12. They slop up that repub propaganda like hogs in late autumn...
...just before they are taken to slaughter. They slurp and snort more about Cindy Sheehan than they do about the guy in the White House with the butcher knife. Their little minds are clouded by their partisan love for their beloved leader and cannot, under any circumstances, bring themselves to admit that they screwed up. Big time!

15. G. Gordon Liddy: "It's always the SAME 500,000 people!!"
He actually said something like, "You look at the video, and it's always the same people! Did you see Jesse Jackson was there?"

Meanwhile, they kept talking about "the majority of Americans" and "The American People." If the polls don't clue them in, you might think 100,000 vs. 400 would!!
