What was the turnout?
Was it as much as 2000, more, or less? Or are they all roughly the same in New Hampshire and does it matter?

3. That should turn some heads.
Two record turnouts in a row.

8. How many of them were Democrats?

Scrub the independent vote and let's see how many Democrats still care enough about the process to even show up and vote.

4. Secretary of State's office had predicted 184,000
And today at 6 pm their time, someone in their office told me turnout was good, things were running well, and they thought it would be around that.

Also, it should be remembered that the largest group in NH is not Rs or Ds, it is those who are not in either party. They can vote in the D primary.

9. bear in mind....
Edited on Tue Jan-27-04 11:11 PM by Zan_of_Texas
that the difference between the top two finishers in Iowa was a mere 24,000 votes. That's not even one full stadium of folks watching a pro baseball game.

Oddly enough, it looks like the difference between the top two finishers in NH is just a bit more than that.
