The media assassinated Dean and Clark: Who's next?
Edited on Tue Jan-27-04 09:56 PM by JCMach1
Hey, it's been a new target each week.

They did a complete hatchet job on Wesley for 'daring' to speak out against the evil emperor.

So is it Kerry flambe---?

Or Edwards a-la-mode?

2. I think Kerry's next to get hit
Two big wins puts the target on his back. Let's see how well he handles himself.

3. Media gave Dean way more juice than they took away. Remember all year
until he started polling poorly in in IA? Even this past week was an effort of rehabilitating him.

Clark is the one the media tombstoned fer real. But he doesn't seem to have the skills to fight back, so it's better to have known that now.

4. Dean and Clark assinated Dean and Clark.
Dean imploded and Clark is just not ready for prime-time. You can spin it anyway you like, but that's the simple truth.

12. Not so, how many Chimp gaffes have been ignored???
Edited on Tue Jan-27-04 10:07 PM by JCMach1
How many times did the average person in NH see 'the scream'? 600+ and something according to researchers.

How much air time was given to Clark's DARING to accuse Bush? And yes that was how it was usually presented...

14. I thought Clark was treated unfairly
Seems to me they came down on him pretty hard for no good reason - although I will say I think he understands this politics game is a little tougher than he thought it would be. His grasp of domestic issues is not great - but this is not a surprise. As for Dean - the yowl did him in - plain and simple.

8. Kerry
Just watch how he will be morphed into Ted Kennedy, the man the Right loves to hate. Every liberal position he ever took will be distorted and defamed.

America. We eat our own.

9. They are seasoning up JFK
Sen Kerry will be next into the sleazy-bake rw media oven. He's pretty much been there for years so he may be able to come through it lightly browned - but not burnt to a crisp.

16. No, only if he is elected
Then if he tries something like a Universal Healthcare plan or restoring media ownership restrictions, they will attempt to neutralize him with scandals.

13. Whomever they think is against corporate control
...what they call the "Free Market".

I don't think this will be Kerry. He will continue to glide through the media's "scrutiny", with token bumps here and there.

They will side with the one who is a) the least threat to media monopolization, b) biggest proponent of cheap oil, and c) hasn't been damaged in the public's eyes.
