Damn mediawhores did it again
OK, I am a Dean supporter and was somewhat disappointed that tonight's race wasn't closer. Then when I saw Kerry was about to speak I said, "OK, let me listen carefully." He came out, started really getting into what I thought was a very good speech and CNN, MSNBC and Fox all cut him off to show Edwards the 5th place finisher?

What the hell? Does anyone else have the feeling that they just wanted to get him the hell off the tube because he was doing so well?
I am really burning over this.

1. Wouldn't be surprised.
I like all of them though, so I'm happy to hear what any of our candidates have to say.

They're hoping someone will withdraw
They cut away from Kerry to show Lieberman now.

4. I like them all too, but one at at time
It seems to me they could have finished showing Kerry and then shown tapes of the others. What were the others thinking? Did they all get on at the same time so they'd make the evening news in California?

2. They just don't care
We, the electorate are a secondary thought to them. All this exit poll crap really bothers me too.

6. Welcome to my world
Yes, the whoremedia sucks. They're more interested in fundraising and horse races than they are about THE ISSUES.

But what gets more viewers, cutey-face piccies of the candidates or the truth behind the fraudulent BFEE.

7. C-SPAN covered it all
I get so annoyed at the news people cutting off everything all the time.

8. Edwards is in 4th currently.
Not fifth. Just thought I'd clarify.

9. Oh sorry, the guy with Joementum is fifth
Didn't mean to slight Edwards. I like the guy a lot. That's the damned trouble. I like all of them a lot. I even like Joe but in his case I think it is more about compassion for a lost soul.

My point simply was you don't cut away from the guy who won to show someone who didn't win, at least not in my book

10. The nature of scorpions
I'm watching the Golden Globes Monday night. This bimbo is interviewing Charlize Theron. Suddenly she spies Bill Murray and calls him over...totally drops Charlize and starts chatting it up with Bill Murray. (Charlize finally leans in and says, Excuse me, I've got to go. It's getting cold here.) What's this have to do with DU? This: That's the media. They're like pigs at the trough. They're unthinking and uncaring...about everyone. They only want to satisfy themselves. To think this has anything to do with politics is naive at best, paranoid at worst (unless you're talking Fox, which is obviously State run). When you pay attention to how they behave in other areas...like sports or arts and entertainment, you see that like the scorpion (changing metaphor alert) riding the back of that frog, they're only acting acccording to their nature....and not according to some dark and unified agenda.

10 months to grow up, people.

11. Edwards's message resonates better with average Americans
than Kerry's. NH's footbal team is the New England Patriots, and their baseball team is the Boston Red Sox. Why should we be surprised when a Boston elitist wins NH?
