How is Lieberman (almost) ahead of Clark/Edwards?
Granted this may not be the case at the end of the day - but with 50% reporting now on CNN Lieberman is at 9%, Clark 12%, and Edwards 13%.

Can anyone explain how Lieberman is almost on par with Clark and Edwards? Who is voting for him? I find it hard to believe Lieberman has nearly as much support among democrats as Clark and Edwards.

Is it possible repubs are infiltrating and voting for him? It would not be a first for them to mess with a dem primary.

but his number is only 9%, it was up at 10% and came down. maybe it'll slip down further to 7.

2. What does Connecticut have to do with it?
Are you talking about distance? This is Deans back yard and he is still 2nd place.

Clark also skipped Iowa... That doesn't seem to have helped him any.

3. Bush supporters voted for Lieberman
in part I think to try to move Clark to the end of the pack.

4. Lieberman
has been living in NH for a couple of weeks campaigning. He does have a small Democratic following. Then there are the discontented Republican voters who cast a discontent vote for the most conservative Democrat.
