I think the Roberts hearing is dominating cable coverage.... I want to watch Dopey eat a slice of humble pie today at the U.N. today.

Does anyone know which network will broadcat this?

5. Do I dare to watch this train wreck?

I am totally dreading this UN speech.

Junior has been obliterated by Katrina, and his polls are sinking.

You know damn well, that Rove has him in a room right now, incessantly training him to look presidential and like he's a bona fide leader.

OHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...the beady-eyed stare! The pontificating--as if the man has one ounce of intelligence! He'll lean his shoulder to one side, and give us all that constipated cowboy look--as he squints into the crowd--as if he's thinking real hard.

I just don't think I can take any more of this third-rate, worse-than-community-theater drama.

It's so revolting that this bag o bungling crap could stand in front of the world's leaders--and ADDRESS THEM! Junior isn't capable of addressing an envelope, let alone this crowd.

I really hope these leaders tell him to stuff it up his Ashcroft. Junior has no business speaking with authority on anything--let alone democracy (that we no longer have here) and peace (which is nonexistent in Iraq).

Let's just hope that our media interviews some world leaders who will speak the truth.

I hope Chavez doesn't fall for their intimidation tactics. I hope he is there with bells.

7. Did you see this, RE: Chavez?
BTW, I like your righteous rant!

Chavez Says His Bodyguards Denied Visas for U.N. Summit
Chavez Says His Bodyguards Denied Visas for U.N. Summit, U.S. Embassy Denies Claim

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said Tuesday that U.S. authorities have denied visas to his security team, hampering his attendance at this week's U.N. summit in New York. U.S. Embassy officials denied Chavez' claim. "The United States is violating international accords ... they denied visas for my security team," said Chavez who has repeatedly accused the U.S. government of backing plots against him.

He said he was still considering whether to go to New York after the visas were allegedly denied for his bodyguards and the military chief of his security detail. He accused the U.S. government of attempting to undermine his participation at the U.N. summit, which begins Wednesday. A spokesman for the U.S. Embassy in Caracas, Brian Penn, denied Chavez' claim, saying the embassy "has not denied any visas to members of the (Venezuelan) delegation going to New York for the U.N. meeting,"

Meanwhile, the Venezuelan leader also accused the U.S. authorities of allegedly changing "at the last minute" the location where his plane was supposed to land. He called the move "intervention" in Venezuela's affairs. Chavez said the alleged visa denials were particularly disturbing given the recent suggestion by American religious broadcaster Pat Robertson that he should be killed.

Robertson said last month that the United States should "take him (Chavez) out" because the Venezuelan president, a close ally of Cuban leader Fidel Castro, poses a danger to the region. Robertson later apologized. Chavez has repeatedly accused the U.S. government of backing a short-lived 2002 coup against him, and recently alleged that Washington was preparing an invasion on his South American nation - a key oil producer. U.S. officials have denied the claims as ridiculous.

8. Yes, I saw that about Chavez...
...and I think it's all games.

I don't think the United States' government would openly deny visas to Chavez' body guards, and then kill him.

That's just a wee bit obvious.

I think they're playing these games to intimidate Chavez into not making the trip.

I seriously think Rove and Company sat down in a room and said, "Look, Georgey's numbers are in the toilet. America hates him right now. He's gotta look presidential. We can't have Chavez speaking the truth and making him look like the goof that he is. Rile him up and prevent him from coming here."

With Chavez in the media so much--you know they would make a bee line for him. He'd get so much press and we all know he's not afraid to speak the truth and make the president look like a court jester.

That's what I think is going on!

11. What a huge embarrassment. This man looks, acts, and sounds like a fool
He is the most meaningless, uninvolved, disengaged, narcissistic, uncaring, cold hearted, unqualified, empathetically challenged, sock puppet who has ever taken the podium in the General Assembly chamber.

The worst of the world's leaders over history have been better than him. At least they could speak. This man is incapable of delivering a speech that even approaches sincerity or self-acknowledgment.

Maybe we could just send a CD and have it played on the Jumbotron. Just stitch some old clips of him together and do a voice-over.

He is completely irrelevant.
