2. Biden is an embarrassment
He should take Lieberman and Zell Miller with him and officially cross over to the dark side. They've been virtual Republicans for way too long!

6. Great idea
Sarcasm.

Yeah, the way to save our country is to give more power to the enemy.

Sometimes I think the country deserves Bush when I see how Bush's supposed enemies propose to fight him by attacking anyone who does not fit their preconceived notions of perfection.

3. I liked where he finally arrived with it,
that a SCOTUS isn't like an umpire. The strike zone isn't defined for them.

They must infer from the constitution, Biden wants to know how Roberts "infers."

I dislike sports analogies and metaphors but I can't fault Biden on this one.

13. exactly right ...
Roberts referred to the role of the justices as "baseball umpires" ... Biden's point that justices need to "infer" the meaning of the Constitution and that it is not always spelled out in black and white was dead on the money ...

there's plenty to criticize Biden for but the point he made here was a good one ... he didn't introduce the analogy; Roberts did ...

8. Let's have some MORE baseball analogies
Hey, Biden, how about throwing a few brushback pitches, up and in and way out of the strike zone. Or maybe a fastball behind his head that thwacks against the backstop.

17. But he is very interested in gender equality, because he had
sisters, has a wife, and a daughter.

Boy that qualifies him, NOT.

20. At least one of the right wing nut pundits at Townhall.com,
said that making special provision to protect women against violence was "institutionalizing" women as victims.

It is like, hello? Women are victims on a huge scale.

This was a woman, believe it or not.

Probably thinks a real man beats his wife, girlfriend.
