In 1992, President Clinton finished third in Iowa, second in New Hampshire
then kicked poppy's butt in November.

3. In 1992, Clinton was a Southern DLC governor
That doesn't sound like Dean, does it?

4. Two things
Clinton started as late as Clark did and entered the caucus with Kucinich-like numbers, much much after Dean has in this race
In Iowa he was running against Harken, even with his support Dean managed a third

I would be careful in drawing parallels between the two except if you want to point out that they're both moderates painted as liberals
