This nation is overwhelmingly pro-choice... only 13 states are anti-choice.

10. Kansas Surprised Me
Half the people are Pro-Choice.

Doesn't seem that way from the news. Must just be a few very loud antis.

"What's The Matter With Kansas".

But there are a lot of quite sane ones, as well.

5. MS, AL & LA are in the bottom 5 on the pro-choice list.
God must hate them for their views and laws that would care for the fetus but not for the child.
:sarcasm:

8. If Only They'd voted This Way
Dubya wouldn't be in office.
Something like 16 states that voted for Dubya are majority Pro-Choice. Not one state that went for Kerry is majority Pro-Life.

Well, to all those Pro-Choice people who voted for Dubya, I hope you are happy when not just abortion but birth control is outlawed. I hope you are happy when our rights to privacy are stripped away. Maybe by then you will realize the importance of what you threw away, but by then it will be too late. In some ways, I blame you more than I do the Pro-Life voters who supported Dubya. They really believed. You just didn't care.

9. It's interesting
Edited on Mon Sep-12-05 04:22 PM by jaredh
that Wyoming, Colorado, Alaska, and Nevada are so strongly pro-choice yet still went for Chimpy in '04. New Mexico is also very pro choice so hopefully they'll turn around next election.

12. It's that rugged "libertarianism" streak of the west.
I guess they care more about libertarianism when it comes to taxes, and don't care so much about voting for it when it comes to women's rights.
