MSNBC: Bush to visit New Orleans.
Earlier this morning: MSNBC reporter says that "police, firefighters, emergency workers and the media are primarily the only people left in New Orleans."

About an hour later, they announced that Bush will be making his "third visit" to the Katrina area (oooooohhh....DILLIGENCE), and he will be visiting New Orleans.

And that's a good thing, because all of the people who might yell at him or ruin his photo op are DEAD, EVACUATED, or "REMOVED."

Fucking COWARD.

1. What For?
Who the hell wants his lazy ass around down there?
He is not needed now. We needed him earlier, see? When someone was writing checks.
Too little too late.

2. he's in a pickle now. anything he does will look staged.
well, everything he ever does ALWAYS looks staged to those of us here at du. i mean, the public will finally see what we've seen all along.

he's going to new orleans to rescue anyone other than himself.

10. OH BUT!
His doggie will be okay. He better not bring that dog to NOLA! (nothing personal against the dog)
What if his photo op is saving a DOG?

OMFG! The best we can hope for is another flyover in AF1.
Do not land. Step away from NOLA. Let the real people get the job done.

13. Moderator: why'd you delete my post?
Edited on Sun Sep-11-05 11:25 AM by npincus
It was a completely, utterly sarcastic dig at the WH propaganda machine; implying they are planning a staged rescue. Sorry, I disagree totally with your deleting it. The site has allowed posts of drowned corpses floating in NO sludge, but would find a cutting, sarcastic comment directed at B*shco tasteless?

14. And thus, efforts to rescue humans and animals (mainly) will be halted
while he's there. He's not needed. He doesn't help. Keep him away.
