3. What are they going to do? Replace him with his brother?
Somehow, I'm not confident about ANYONE they nominate to take his place.

8. No, they are just pulling him off the Hurricane Katrina efforts.
A Coast Guard Admiral is being tapped to replace management of FEMA in the Gulf. Brownie remains on FEMAs payroll, just working from Washington. He'd be a joke if he weren't so fucking tragic.

4. He works at the will of the pResident which he has repeated over and over
I guess the pResident doesn't will it any longer. Might be a good time for someone to check the resumes of the next ones in line. I doubt they have even as much experience as Brown.

5. I sure would if I were him
Lessee, if I were Brownie, I'd resign and move to a different country, change my name, and get professional help with my resume. But that's just me.

7. They just made a formal announcement.
He's being recalled to Washington, but hasn't been fired or asked to resign. Yeah, right. :eyes:

So for the second time, he gets yanked for incompetence. Meanwhile, he's sitting on a pile of cash he's been paid to be utterly useless. If he had any conscience at all, he'd donate this year's entire salary to Hurricane Katrina relief. However, I won't be holding my breath.
