Just spent a day at the polls
I was in Concord, travelling around from polling place to polling place. Kerry and Dean supporters were at every poll in roughly equal amounts. I saw lots of Clark signs, but very few Clark supporters. There were a couple of Edwards people I saw, too. Lieberman signs or supporters seemed to be MIA. There was also one person at practically every poll place with newer, uglier Bush/Cheney signs.

Turnout is high, new voter registration is VERY high.

1. Thanks for the bulletin!
High turnout reports (yours is not the first I've seen) are encouraging, both for NH and for the rest of us!!

2. Interesting!
A high turnout always screws with the pollsters. Thanks for the report. :)

5. I don't know how the bush cheney sign could be any meaner or uglier
than the ones in 2000. Why do I hear Darth Vader music in my head when I think of them?

8. Red with blue lettering, with a white outline
It looked like something you might produce for a state legislature race, not a presidential race.

6. The press won't focus on the turnout unfortunately
But, this is a point that I keep harping on. When twice the number of Iowa voters come out to CAUCUS on a freezing cold January night and x amount (I'll wait for the totals) comes out in NH to do the same, that doesn't mean that these people are died in the wool for their own candidates. It means something completely different:

OUT WITH BUSH!!!!!!!!!!

The media isn't telling us that these high turnouts are because we hate the thought of four more destructive years of Bush. But, you bet your ASS Karl Rove is sitting up and taking notice.

If we can bring out numbers like this NOW for a primary, just imagine in NOVEMBER.

Republicans should be very concerned about these numbers. I would be if the shoe were on the other foot....

Let's keep it up in ALL FIFTY!!!!
