This Is Ridiculous
Edited on Mon Sep-05-05 07:36 AM by erpowers
It is expected that Bush will announce that he will change the nomination of John Roberts from just replacing Sandra Day O' Connor to replacing William Rehenquist as the Chief Justice. This is ridiculous and the Democrats have to stop this. This guy is not qualified to be the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. He only has two years of experience as a judge. It is even questionable that the guy is qualified to be a supreme Court justice. Democrats have got to fight this and not just for partisans reasons or that he is young. They have got to fight it because this guy is not qualified for the job.

1. They don't have to have experience. So that's not a reason to fight it0

4. I beg to differ
Sure, a president can legally nominate a complete MORAN if he wants, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be an issue. This is another insult to the American public by King *.

7. we must NOT allow this to happen! . . . Bush is a liar, a thief, and
a murderer, not to mention an illegitimate president . . . he has no business nominating ANYONE to anything, particularly the Supreme Court . . . we need to get creative and stop this atrocity, or we'll be living with neo-conservatism for the next 40 years . . .

8. I hope he** does - it'll make Roberts' qualifications (or lack thereof)...
...the main issue.
