We need a new WPA program for the refugees.

If the city is going to be rebuilt, it needs to be built above sea level. Bush has no idea of the magnitude of rebuilding the city in a sensible way.

The new WPA would provide tens to hundreds of thousands of jobs, with displaced NO residents from lower socio-economic status getting first priority for employment, and give them useful skills for future employment after the rebuilding.

What do you think?

Edit: In order to provide even more employment opportunities for the refugees, the new WPA projects could also be expanded to include national parks (which are in dire need), inner city rejuvenation, and transportation projects.
