CHRONOLOGY....Here's a timeline that outlines the fate of both FEMA and flood control projects in New Orleans under the Bush administration. Read it and weep:

2. Good-good-good-good-good!
Looks like this stuff won't be falling on deaf ears for a change. I mean, if simpering toadies like Wolf Blitzer, Jack Cafferty and Anderson Cooper are actually bringing this up and voicing disbelief and outrage (and yes, they're bringing this up, ON THE AIR), then it looks as though we've got our latter-day Cronkite moment - that tipped the scales against the Vietnam War from your dinnertime TV newscast. Our problem has always been that the media REFUSED to get behind anything that might make their precious messiah look bad. Either because they were completely taken in or they were under threat or intimidation from cheney's office or rove's or maybe libby's or somebody's. Looks like this has finally trumped it all.

Better late than never.

But I hope they don't ever try to say we didn't warn them. Anymore than bush can say he wasn't warned about any of this and couldn't anticipate and couldn't imagine and had no idea and was too busy getting on with his life and mass-murdering innocents in Iraq 'cause he wanted their oil and world conquest.

Dare we hope this is the beginning of the end of the bush regime? If so, then perhaps those who've suffered and died and been lost in Hurricane Hell won't have died in vain.

What a waste. None, however, quite so big a waste as he is, though. MISERABLE excuse for a human being.

10. I actually saved it this a.m. and had just retrieved it and sent a blast!
Great minds!

I also included these:

From http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x4565491 :

As an Air Force Vet, I CANNOT believe the lack of response!!!

An old C-130 Hercules can airdrop loads up to 42,000 pounds or use its high-flotation landing gear to land and deliver cargo on rough, dirt strips. Load and flight prep, LESS than 2 hours. It can fly 1200+ miles at about 350 mph!!!

Reservists could do it . . . IF THEY WEREN'T IN IRAQ!!!!!!!!!

From http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x4551889 :

AIRLIFT IN WATER - FOOD - MEDS (text omitted here)
