2. Congress can introduce, and vote on whatever it wants to...

However, it doesn't become law until the President signs the bill.

Ergo, congress could pass a law saying that "Bush is a Douchebag", but it's not the law of the land until Bush himself signs it.

Moron that he is, he'd probably sign exactly that, if his croanies put the document in front of him at 'document signing hour' (after bike riding, but before the BBQ) at Crawford.

5. No, Madison et al. weren't what our mythology would have us believe
They basically created a monarchial republic, in which 'We, the People' have real power only when the majority of us all get together on some issue at the same time. Which effectively means we have no real power!
