6. The turnout in subzero weather will be incredible.
And the media will seriously underreport that fact.

Regardless of who wins, the people of New Hampshire will demonstrate that they want a Democrat in the White House and would tromp through ten feet of snow at 100 degrees below zero if they had to to accomplish that.

10. Dennis John Kucinich wins!
No, but seriously how cool would it be if Kucinich were to come in third or fourth, lets say. That would really send a great message. Even fifth would be cool. Not that I'm suggesting its likely to happen but it could. I hear a lot of talk about NH independents but I wonder about NH greens. The NH green party did in fact endorse Kucinich. How many NH greens are there? Just a hand full, I suppose. Anyone know?

15. 22,198 folks in NH voted Nader/Laduke in 2000
How many of these need to vote for Kucinich today for him to get fifth rather than sixth?

Anyone know overall number of likely voters?

18. Over 153,000 folks voted in NH 2000 primary
Edited on Tue Jan-27-04 01:05 PM by goodhue
Assuming 200,000 vote today and 10,000 vote Kucinich, then he gets 5%. If 180,000 vote today and 5,000 vote Kucinich, then he gets 3.7%. So my prediction is that Dennis gets at least 4% and probably more. Tell me why I'm wrong.
