The Chattanoogan: Cindy Sheehan "really a politically left wing activist"
Opinion: The Truth About Cindy Sheehan

Cindy Sheehan, demonstrator at the Bush ranch in Texas, has been hailed by the left as a woman on a mission. She is revered as holding a real vigil at the ranch to have questions answered. Though we know Ms. Sheehan is sad and mourns the loss of her son and we honor the work of her son, she is far from a typical ‘mom’ in America. This is someone who is referred to as “an earth mother” and refuses to pay her federal taxes.

On the Sheehan website there is an open letter to President Bush, it says, “George, it has been seven months today since your reckless and wanton foreign policies killed my son, my big boy, my hero, my best-friend: Casey. It has been seven months since your ignorant and arrogant lack of planning for the peace murdered my oldest child. It has been two days since your dishonest campaign stole another election…but you all were way more subtle this time than in 2000, weren’t you?” (open letter by Cindy Sheehan to President G.W. Bush)

So this woman who is touted as an average “American mom” is really a politically left wing activist. She is so far outside the norm for average Americans that it should not surprise anyone that she would be at the ranch. So instead of a glass of lemonade for Ms. Sheehan maybe it would be a good idea just to ignore this latest attempt to normalize this far left radical agenda.

The final word comes from Ms. Sheehan’s own website and is a quote from Ghandi. It says, "When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem invincible but in the end, they always fall - think of it, always." That is the first true and right thing she has said. Ms. Sheehan, the tyrant and murderer that was Saddam Hussein has fallen. Think of it!

1. I wouldn't have labled it as the "Chatanoogan" - it's an OPINION piece
If they refused to print someone's counter to it, I could see a problem.

But it's just a rightwing opinion slam.

Screw em - and send in a counter to it :bounce:

2. Can't believe he manipulated the Gandhi quote...
Yeah, Gandhi was all about blowing shit up. If he were alive today he would be up on stage with Toby Keith talking about stickin' his boot (or sandal, perhaps) into somebody's ass. Idiot.
