Dems, Rove and the political narrative...
I was talking to a friend the other day and he made the comment about how Rove didn't "name" the CIA agent and therefore didn't break any laws. I got to thinking about that and came up with an analogy that Dems could use to explain how Rove did identify an agent.

I later told him imagine he were an undercover drug cop going by the name name John Smith and he was in a bar and someone that knew him as an undercover drug cop but not his real name, somehow blew his undercover status. He wouldn't necessary have to provide the undercover cop's real name, only that he was a cop. And any occupation that has covert actions attached to it could be explained with an example like this.

This is something that the Dems need to learn how to do better. Draw illustrations the American people can follow.

1. AND...
Well, not only that, but also that the CIA operative (now known, of course, as Valerie Plame) was blatently disclosed by Rove as Ambassador Joseph Wilson's WIFE. Gee, I don't think it would take a rocket scientist to do a quick Google search on such an identity and have it revealed in, oh...0.34 seconds! Why can't neocons just use their head every once in a while?

2. Easy comeback.

"Oh come on, that's like saying you tried marijuana, but didn't inhale."
