I personally think it's pretty likely. The more information that comes out, the more it sounds as if that's the case.

They lie out of habit, even when it is not necessary. Remember when they said that the "Mission Accomplished" banner was a big suprise that was a spontaneous action on the part of the crew of the aircraft carrier? (only of course it wasn't). That's the kind of stuff I'm talking about. We are almost at the point where you cannot believe one single statement they make about anything.

Also fun is how they change what happened, just like the psychotic mother-in-law at Sunday dinner- "I said what? No, I never said -6 weeks tops in Irag?!WMD is why we went into Iraq?! Honey, I ALWAYS told you it was to spread democracy and that it would be a generational struggle. Now hush up and pass the gravy."
