Isikoff betrayed a little secret amongst the reporters on TDS....
He said that Fitzgerald better have something after all this - especially after one reporter is sitting in jail and another just barely missed going to jail. Fitzgerald better have something to show for this investigation, he said. I sensed a little anger in his voice when he talked about putting reporters in jail. Jon Stewart did suggest there is a difference in covering for sources and covering just so you don't lose your place at the White House press corps halls..Does that mean the reporters may actually be angry enough to report the truth about this Administration?

2. And he repeated at least one lie
which was that Wilson's trip was authorized by his CIA wife. Made me furious. So, no, there's not enough character and integrity for them to be angry enough in the right way to do the right thing.

3. a seasoned reporter like Isikoff would never say something like that
unless he already knew the answer to the question. I pray that Cheney is the target.

4. I was having a hard time
comprehending where isikoff was on this.

I did understand when he said Fitzgerald better have a criminal case.

I felt Jon was coming back with more valid points than isikoff had about what was going on with miller and Joe Wilson.

5. Agreed. I felt like Isikoff was scared and walking a fine line.. Jon,
however, took the ball and ran with it for all it was worth.

6. Yeah, I was really trying
to listen but it was confusing me.

I was attempting to take notes so I could read back later what he said and I just gave up..

I did take down that Jon said.."The Real Issue is that rove pretended not to know anything"!

Thank you, Jon Stewart.

Maybe I'll watch the video tomorrow and study it :)

7. yes he was focusing on the fact that no matter what this administration
says, it nearly always means the exact opposite is true. Said that is the real reason they should go.

Stewart struck me as quite serious on this whole topic. He come off as personally very horrified by the abuse of power of this administration and the way in which the press has been silence (except for the FAKE NEWS--the only place the truth can be spoken)
