I need a verfication RE Wilson on CSPAN and Poppy remark

This is what I heard from Wilson near the end of the press conference. Did I get it correct?

...Brent Scowcraft and the first George Bush reviewed my editorial piece. George Bush said that he agreed with a lot of my views. Neither of the two called me back and told me my piece sucked....

8. Wilson's not showing the letter cuz he's waiting to see if they deny it

Pretty clearly a strong-hand "bluff."

He hasn't shown a copy of the letter, so perhaps we can discredit him some more, say the Republicans. Needless to say, Joe Wilson did not throw out a personal letter aggreing with him from a former President of the United States. He's getting them in a twist.
