The RWAM has finally started labeling Fitzgerald as being out of control.

The Right Wing Attack Machine sure didn't waste any time gearing up an attack against Fitzgerald once it realized that Fitzgerald might actually be close to getting the ugly truth on Rove...

"But now Mr. Fitzgerald has become an unguided missile, holding reporters in contempt for not disclosing their sources even as it becomes clearer all the time that no underlying crime was at issue."

1. I'm sure we could find plenty of examples where the WSJ's
editorials praised Ken Starr's pathological obsession with Clinton's sex life.

2. No underlying crime?
It really amazes me how these folks can lie blatantly - I gotta give them credit for that.

4. WSJ Opinion page has always reserved for lies and propaganda...

But of course the right wingers believe the WSJ Opinion page as though it were the word of God.

3. Wasn't it the judge who held the reporters in contempt?
I don't think a prosecutor can do that.

12. So that's why they have to say it's the prosecutor.
Someone has to work really hard on those lies.

5. They sure support Ken Starr.....
He eventually got Clinton for lying under oath about a sexual relationship that had absolutely nothing to do with the original investigation. I never heard them question the money we spent for that investigation or the invasiveness of the investigation.

6. They'll get much uglier on Fitzgerald very soon.
The question is whether they'll get him fired and replaced by a yes man.

9. gut feeling
I bet when Fitzgerald was a doorman during his college days in NY the Repubs he used to hold doors for looked down their nose at him. I bet he never forgot.

10. Or maybe Fitzgerald is a fair and honest prosecutor.
And you can shove your veiled jabs at Fitzgerald three feet up your ass sideways.

13. Republicans are buttering up Fitzgerald...
...so they can try to cook him before he cooks Rove. It won't work.

Seriously, watch all the right wing media outlets in the next few days. Once the RWAM realizes that attacks on Wilson or his wife won't get Rove out of trouble, it will turn its attention to Fitzgerald.

11. Any moment now, expect Pickles to start talking about a vast left wing
conspiracy. Okay, maybe she won't use those exact words. Thing is, when Hillary claimed VRWC, it was true.

14. If this gets widespread, it will be indicative that an indictment is
forthcoming.

No doubts about it, going after Fitzgerald meand Rove will be indicted.

15. IMO, it just means the RW is scared they're finally going to get caught...
...by someone who actually respects the law.

Lord knows I haven't heard any 'pukes saying Rove should go to jail if he broke the law. But they believe the law only applies to other people.
