I think we should just turn Rove into one big ridiculous joke!
If we criticize him too much, people might develop some misplaced sympathy for him.

So - let's just make up endless jokes about him and make him a laughing stock instead.

Leaky Rove, the political joke who doesn't know enough to keep US Secrets secret when we're at war. And he's running the White House? Sounds pretty funny to me!

Here's the latest from Yahoo on Rove:

3. He's got that puffy wimpy look to him.
Kind of like Dick Moriss. He hits behind the stage and below the belt. Real chickenhawks.

5. Treason is not something you joke about - not in Red States not in Blue...
States, not anywhere in the United States.

Conservatives, Liberals, Moderates, Libertarians, Greens all love their country and all have the most firece contempt and bitter hatred of those who betray it.

Nobody idolizes or feels sorry for Bededict Arnold or Judas Iscariot.

Treason has always been regarded as one of the most dire offences a person could commit. The cold-blooded murder of another person is very evil, but it does not even come close to the betrayal of one's entire country.

***

"Even though I'm a tranquil guy now at this stage of my life, I have nothing but contempt and anger for those who betray the trust by exposing the name of our sources. They are, in my view, the most insidious of traitors." -- George Herbert Walker Bush, 1999

6. How about this....
..... regarding Roves statements in New York a few weeks ago about Conservatives preparing for war and Liberals preparing indictments and seeking counseling for the attackers. That was a calculated plan to save his own ass! He knew Plamegate was going to break, he pissed off the left so he can later play the victim. I've heard the statement "the angry left" quite a bit today. What do you think?

7. Karl Rove deserves a Medal
What’s all the moaning about Rove telling Reporters the identity of a Covert CIA Spy? We need to look at what really happened, Joe Wilson embarrassed the POTUS and needed to be taught a lesson. So, Karl Rove being the Patriot he is, single handedly uncovered a CIA Spy to prove the point that embarrassing the POTUS comes with a price. That’s the New American Way.

Just like Paul Bremer and George Tenet, Karl Rove deserves a Medal of Freedom. If Bremer received one after losing $9 Billion in American Taxpayer funds and Tenet’s claims of a WMD “Slam dunk” which turned out to be a “Big Bust”, surely Karl Rove deserves one for his traitorous acts against the Country. The new motto of the Country is ‘Failure is Rewarded” as long as you tote the GOP mantra of “YEE-HAW”.

10. It's not just that he taught Wilson a lesson by outing a spy/wife
It is the fact that he lied about it and it is not just exposing a spy, blowing her cover. The spy he revealed was working high up with keeping and eye on WMD development around the world and her organization has lost a lot of contacts because of her outing, making us all LESS SAFE because they are no longer able to track WMDs even as good as they could before. It is treason to reveal covert CIA agents.

Treason is not a joke. This is no joke. Scotty may look ridiculous, and the rightwingers may bitch and moan about we libruls being just out to get Rove, but His actions, for whatever purpose (teach Wilson a lesson that he shouldn't contradict the administration with pesky truthful facts or not) have led the world directly to a more dangerous place.

11. treating him as a joke cheapens the severity of what he did . . .
exposing covert government agents is serious as a Cheney heart attack . . . a lot of lives may have been lost, and he's responsible . . . that's no joke . . .
